Time learning is calculated by measuring the time it takes to respond to each question within the learning game.
It excludes the time it takes to log on, go to Jungle Town, print a report, select a game, etc.
The student may have been at the computer for 25 minutes but this would not be an accurate measure of the time they were actively engaged in the learning process.
It is done this way so the processing speed of an individual student can be measured when using different cognitive skills, e.g. comprehension responses may be slower than single word reading.
